International Day of the Girl

Today is the day the world celebrates International Day of the Girl Child!

The mission is “to help galvanize worldwide enthusiasm for goals to better girls’ lives, providing an opportunity for them to show leadership and reach their full potential.”

Here in the United States, the focus is on girl-led activism across the country and advancing the rights of girls everywhere.

At MORGAN YOUNG BOOKS, our goal is to write adventure books featuring strong, brave, independent girls. We show readers that girls can be leaders, rescuers, problem-solvers, or whatever else they choose to be!
